Bruno,

Not sure if this will help but the current version of TQSL is 2.5.1.

Scott … it still doesn’t work.

I updated my QTH coordinates (33.141, -117.305) and made sure I am using the current LOTW file. Also confirmed that my LOTW license is active. Followed the steps in the HELP page as suggested

When I try to send an update, I still get the same error message:

TQSL software reports:

TQSL Version 2.4.7 [v2.4.7]

Error: The selected station location could not be found

Final Status: Command Syntax Error (10)

Rebooted with the same results.

Note that this worked just fine until a week or so ago. No changes over here. Also, note that I not getting any error messages when I poll LoTW to receive QSLs.

By the way, I understood the “Error: The selected station location could not be found” meant that the station logging I am trying to send is invalid. But it’s happening for all of yesterday’s contacts.

Hi Ken,

Thanks for your e-mail.  Sorry, no, the Other fields are Windows text box controls, not drop down list controls.

I'm sorry that I didn't have the answer you were hoping for.

Enjoy!

Hi all

I’ve watched the FAQ videos and this doesn’t seem to be covered: is it possible to take one of the fields labeled OTHER and make a drop down list wherein one could have a list of rigs or antennas, making the ability to drop down said list on the main form and select said rig or antenna for the QSO in progress before he QSO is saved?

All input is appreciated!

K1OJ,
Re:

Con is you have to be running software to operate unless you move a key directly to the rig and change key menu to correct setting..

If you use paddles, just plug them into the WinKeyer (WKUSB-SMT) and leave them there.  WinKeyer operates as a keyer even when NOT being controlled by any PC software. The WinKeyer Mini does require a PC connection for power, but the original one with the battery does not.

I covered the same territory.  Ended up using  a winkeyer. Pro is that you can easily run different logging softwares with no hardware or keyed configuration changes. Con is you have to be running software to operate unless you move a key directly to the rig and change key menu to correct setting...

The more I look into this, even I do not want to, is to use K1EL Winkeyer box. Or some sort of virtual com port software that works with N3FJP software. Some one suggested to use  LP Bridge   Ihttp://www.telepostinc.com/LPB.html have no Idea what I am doing or how to do this, and/or if this stuff is all compatible with Elecraft and N3FJP AC.

Hi all,

On my dx spotting I have the  box Block CW checked, but I am still seeing CW spots come through.  This used to work, but in the last month or so it stopped.

Anyone else having issues with this?  Is there something else that needs to be checked or is it a glitch?

Thanks

Hi Robb,

Thinking about this a bit more, your rig is responding to the request for frequency command.

What specifically is not working?  What changes did you make immediately prior to the new behavior?

Hi Robb,

Thanks for your e-mail.  I'm sorry that you have run into trouble.  I'm not familiar with the Yaesu 950 myself, but I have had lots of good reports.  Typically, when the software is receiving frequency from the rig, the rig will also respond to commands.  Since it is not, and since it was working and then stopped without changing the software, it is very likely that whatever is at play is external to the software.  It could be your rig settings, your cable or your com port driver.

I'm sorry I don't have more in the way of specifics to suggest.  Perhaps someone more familiar with the 950 will have some ideas for you.

Good luck!
