Re: System Cannot Find Specified File

Walter,

I ran Scott's suite  with my 706MKIIG for years. Unfortunately, I do not have the settings I used. Be sure that you have the correct Rid ID and baud rate. The default ID is 58.

Hope this helps.

Hi Walter,

Thanks for your e-mail.  It looks like you have AC Log configured to upload on entry to LoTW, but there is a problem with the configuration.  You can disable the upload on entry option on the LoTW form and / or configure for proper upload as detailed here (clicking the From Registry in Step 4 will likely correct the error):

Enjoy!

Re: Auto forwarding on QSO's

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for your e-mail.  My software has an API that other developers can use to get real time logging updates and many other interactions.  Please encourage the developer for the service you would like to see interface with my software to use the specs detailed here:

Does ACLog have the ability to automatically forward QSO’s to QSOMap or something like that?  I see other programs that do and was wondering if it does.

Re: Adding CQ-Zone to Cluster window

Scott Davis

Hi Dave,

Thanks for your e-mail.  It sounds like you pulled the column to a zero length, but it will still be there.  Carefully check between each of the columns until you find it and then pull it to a wider width.

Enjoy!

How do I add a CQ-Zone column to the LARGE cluster window? I want to see what zone a DX station is in when spotted. If it's already there and hidden how do I retrieve it?
Thanks,
Dave

Re: N3FJP Log Program Conflict with Flwx SmartSDR CWX Functionality

W4WKU

I had this same problem with the CWT logging program, and even with  FlexAPI selected in the Rig Interface screen, the logging program always stayed on top of the SmartSDR screen; even if I minimized the logging program, I couldn't use the CW sending function in SmartSDR. I made two changes to the Rig Interface screen; one of these fixed the problem:
  1. Two different Comm Ports would work to interface with the radio, the comm port I originally selected was different from what I had set up with the general N3FJP logging program, so I changed the CWT log to match N3FJP Log.
  2. I had the Polling Data Rate at 2 seconds in the CWT log, and 500ms in the general N3FJP logging program, so I again changed the  CWT log to match the N3FJP log.
After rebooting the radio, everything works!   Hopefully this information will help others experiencing conflicts between SmartSDR and one or more of the N3FJP logging programs.

I did not know about that one,  COOL.

As to offline, it looks like ACL related to me----I'm learning stuff.

Are you using WSJT-X / JTAlert / ACLog / QRZ XML database?

Paul-N5DUP

If so, and you have ACLog auto populating County, Nam, Coments fields with QRZ XML database lookup data, I would really like to compare settings of the three apps with you.

Thanks!

Feature Request

KB5WCK

Would it be possible to enable QSO forwarding so that as each QSO is logged, it could also be forwarded to QSOMap.org? This would automatically update a user’s QSO map.

Re: Operator

Jim Shorney

You can export the QSOs in question to an ADIF file, use ADIF Master to bulk fill the OPERATOR field with your call, and then re-import after deleting the incorrect records. Per ADIF spec, OPERATOR should always be your operator callsign, not name or initials. If you are thinking of another field please be more specific.

And always back up your files before you make any mafor edits!

I don't know, I don't use spotting inside of ACL. Normally the time is set to current time when you tab away from the CALL box, but at any time you can click on the title bar of the TIME box and it will set to current time.

I guess the way ACL knows when I start calling is from the Telnet Spots and me being on that Freq ? I'll turn Telnet Spots off and see what that does

Make the name correction. Upload a new log and overwrite the current one. Maybe it’ll work?

digital info #contest

David Sigmon

I am a user of HRD logging software and also use the HRD Digital DM780  and this is for my personal shack. Now I also have started a club within the last year. Most of our members were familiar with the N3FJP software and we use it for our contesting and we all LOVE it!  I am one of the members that work the digital mode in contesting and I use what I know which is the HRD DM780 for psk31  now I made it through Field Day last year by logging it on paper and also letting it log to HRD and then manually logged into the N3FJP software it was a real pain to keep it all current as I have a buddy that is also doing digital with me on a different band during the contest so we have to stay on top of things to keep from having dups. I do see the info on the N3FJP that is posted showing the bridging from other digital modes into the N3FJP software. And I do see the info for HRD as well,   But before I go through that I am asking for your thoughts on to what program you feel works the best with less issues and the easiest to work. I am getting things ready for the upcoming NC QSO party and just would like your input. Thanks David, KC4SOT
