Hi Scott,
turned out to be a very simple fix - like all things software, I just need to know where to look!  In the Rig Interface menu, I had selected FlexRadio.  Once I changed that to FlexAPI, and restarted ACLog, everything works fine.  Wanted to let you know in case this question comes up again. And thank you for a great logging software and every better support!

Hi Brian,
Just create the ADIF file out of ACLog and import it into QRZ. For future QSO's you can download my little A2Q+ program.
It runs in the background, waiting for a logging event. It then requests the last entry into the logbook and uploads it to QRZ and or HRDLog.
You need your QRZ API key to work with A2Q+. log into your QRZ logbook and click on Settings. The next window shows you the API key.
Look for: Book #### API key for W8KQ

If you do not have an HRDLog account, leave the field empty in the setup entry dialog.

Hi Bill,

Thanks for your e-mail and suggestion.  Can I have a little more clarification?  Do you mean a UTC clock and then a clock that starts incrementing as soon as the first check in is logged?

For your list of future additions it sure would be nice to have a time readout and an ID timer on the Net log of Contact Log.  I use Net regularly and really like it to track my check-ins and their names thanks to QRZ.  But I have to look elsewhere to check the time.

Hi Brad,

Thanks for your e-mail.  From the menu options click Settings > Appearance > Form Size and enter a value lower than 100, that will accommodate the proportion you are looking for.  That will do the trick.

Enjoy!

Scott,

I've installed ACL 6.5 and I'm having an issue with resizing of the UI. I can't say this is unique to 6.5 as I didn't try resizing with 6.4. When I shorten the height of the window, everything begins to scrunch up and overlap.  Am I not supposed to change the height of the UI window?  I'd think the bottom data entry area would stay fixed, but the top would just collapse and a scroll bar would appear, but that doesn't happen.  Also, maximizing the display doesn't cause the content of the UI to maximize, just the window size maximizes.
FWIW, I don't have any entries in my log at the moment.  I'll be using it Saturday for the Armed Forces Day Crossband Test.

JTAlert supports logging from WSJT-X to ACLog and three of the N3FJP Contest loggers, FD (Summer),  RTTY Roundup & VHF Contest Logs.

JTAlert has a dedicated Help Topic for correct Contest Logs setup (it requires setup of JTAlert, N3FJP log & WSJT-X), not difficult, but very likely to fail if tried without following the instructions.

I just now discovered that the above mentioned help topic is missing from recent JTAlert builds. This has been corrected for the next JTAlert release (this weekend sometime).

Anyone figured out how to make them play nice together? Need WSJTX to send FT8 info to JTAlert which in turn will send Q to N3FJP Field Day program. I guess I don't need N3FJP to have CAT control of Radio (IC-7100) just as long as JTAlert sends the correct info to N3FJP FD program.

you can update lotw using “Data” as the mode, and update that to FT4 once the ADIF governance is complete, much as happened with FT8.

Hi All,

Just a quick announcement to let you know that...

Amateur Contact Log 6.5 is Now Available!

Enhancements include:

- Updated to export FT4 in accordance with the anticipated new ADIF protocols.

- Corrected form display anomalies on 4K monitors.

- Satellite Name and Prop Mode fields default to previous entry when visible.

This release wasn't planned just now, but it is necessitated by FT4 bursting on the scene.  Lots of FT4 users are eager to upload their data to LoTW, etc.  Being a brand new mode, the ADIF transfer specifications are just now being finalized by the ADIF committee.  It turns out that FT4 ADIF specs will likely differ from how FT8 and many other modes are handled, which requires this update.

Even after installing this update, you will not be able to upload your FT4 QSOs to LoTW quite yet.  ARRL will likely have to update their TQSL software to accept FT4 as well.  Keep an eye out for ARRL's announcements for updates on the latest TQSL release.

Hi Rich,

Thanks for your e-mail.  The installer on the web site is definitely 6.5, as lots of folks have confirmed successful installations, so you are definitely still running the old 6.4 installer, which you saved previously.  Depending on your browser, you might try right clicking on the web site download link, click Save As, save the file to a location easy to find and then double click the installer to run it.

Enjoy!
