Re: Labels?

Scott Davis

Hi Tim,

Thanks for your e-mail.  The call signs must match exactly for printing multiple QSO lines (up to 5) on a single label.

Enjoy!

Hi all needing a little help QSL printing labels. I saw the post on how to print labels so I went out and purchased Avery 8160 labels. When I try to put 5 contacts on one label the selection to print all selected is grayed out. Seems the most contacts I can put on one label is three and there seems to be more room at the bottom of each label. I tired to reduce the font size didn't help. As long as I only select three qso's the selection to print all selected is no longer grayed out. Maybe I misunderstanding but if there are 5 available lines to print does that mean 5 qsos?
Any help would be great
Thanks

Kevin
You customize the label in the setup screen. Length
width.. The
8162 label is 1 1/3" x 4"
Pick a QSO and select print QSL strip and set the
screen up
(Height 1.3 x Width 4)

Hey Mike.  I’m curious.  What is the above supposed to represent?  Is it some sort of schematic?  Perhaps an exotic antenna?  Secret code?

Re: Exported ADIF file name

OF course! Just change the name to anything you like. When you click FILE -> EXPORT ADIF -> WHOLE LOG, a window should open up to allow you to change the name and the location it is saved into. Just name it however you want, and put it wherever you want.

I personally do a manual export every Saturday morning. I have a BACKUP-1 and a BACKUP-2 file. Every Saturday one of the other gets updated, so I have one recent export and one a week older.... just in case I hose one over.

I also have AC-Log set to run a backup to a USB thumb drive every time I shut down. Bent and suspenders sort of guy here.

Does anyone know if it is possible to save an ADIF Export to something beside "AClogADIF.adi", maybe something that would include a date and time stamp?

Jim — When you go to save an ADIF Export it will come up and ask you where to save it and you are also able to change the name to whatever you want.

I notice in the FAQ section of Scott's web site the following:

Hi Scott, I understand your reluctance to include rotor control and with further Internet search, I've found a program (PstRotatorAz)written by Codrut Buda, YO3DMU that works perfectly with all of your logging programs.

I am wondering if anyone has or is using this software to control antenna positioning?

I have tested the pre-release and the serial#, Prec, Check and Section are all captured and fldigi and transferred to the contest program and everything works correctly.

Next year will be a breeze.

ARRL Field Day results are posted. Go check how you did. I did
surprisingly well in 1C. Especially considering I was QRP and Pedestrian

Quick but important question. My 2012 era password list does not include a code for the WAE Contest Log. Which one should I use for a workaround?

Thanks
