Additional Information When I am just in the program and not in any setup screen, I get the following pop ups when hitting the below F Keys, the other F Keys do nothing. F Keys are associated with the Phone Mode When I hit F4 I get the network config screen as in CtrlN When I hit F7 I get the rig interface setup screen as in CtrlR When I hit F8 I get the Freq Change Screen as in CtrlF When I hit F11 I get the Setup Screen as in CtrlS When I hit F12 I get the Phone Setup Screen as in CtrlP

Scott, The Beta 2 did correct the index error. I can now play audio files from the F1 key but have not successfully been able to play them from any other F key. Also, when I make a recording that is a .M4A the program does not like it. When hitting the F1 Key, it will play the recording once, then the following times, it will key the rig with no audio. When using and MP3 File it works OK. Larry N8CWU

Scott, Out and about for a few hours. I did try f2 and it did play. Correct, no audio on the second loop, but indication of playing. Yes, esc and f1 works for the first loop. Will do some more testing when i get home. And as i stated in a followup, arrl 10 meter 5.3 works fine on interrnal sound card. Thanks, Steve, ai3ks

Hi Steve, Does this only apply to the F1 loop?
There is no audio at all after the first time, but the yellow label indicates it is playing?
If you press Esc and then F1 again, does it play normally the first time?
I'm trying everything I can think of to duplicate it, but so far everything continues to work properly here.

Art, You can work the digital modes with ACL. On my IC-7300 I had to take rig control off of the usb port and put it on the CI-V port. What that does is in ACL is it now sees 2 com ports. One for the Soundcard on the usb and rig control on the CI-V port. It took me a bit to figure that out because the owner's manual in IC-7300 is not very clear. I currently using FLDIGI and ACL well as the other various contest programs that Scott has produce for us to use. I do both Digital and CW with no issues. 73 Bill -KB6WKT

Hi Guys, Steve, good call, I just tested with my SignaLink here. While I never got to the Com object error, by turning the DLY on the SignaLink down, I was able to simulate the rapidly keying, poorly adjusted VOX that Lawrence described. Setting my DLY at about the 9:00 o'clock position cleans it right up.

Try turning up the delay on the Signalink slightly. I had a similar problem with Feldhell and that took care of the chattering relay.

Hi Guys, Okay, I've just uploaded Beta 0.2:
This beta should correct the interval 0 error John reported and hopefully Larry's report on the selected index value too (I am taking an educated guess on that one).
Regarding the Unable to cast Com Object error, that is less clear. To eliminate the use of Windows Media Player, I've had to add a different third party tool called NAudio, so we can only go by the error description NAudio is returning. It may be that NAudio is balking at either the type of sound file selected, or the device you selected.
For those of you receiving the Unable to cast Com Object error, please try playing a .wav or .mp3 file and let me know if those file types play properly. If those file type won't play, please try selecting a different sound card and try the .wav or .mp3 again.
Please let me know how you make out!

My bad for not explaining better. I meant on the actual rig interface screen where you select your rig and enter the HEX codes for the reading of mode & frequency. But I just installed it and wanted to let everyone know that you DO have to have the rig interface enabled and configured for this feature to work. When I select none and try the new voice player out, it doesn't key the rig. With it enabled, it works flawlessly. Or at least it appears to :P After I get dinner taken care of, I will give a proper test. Mark KM4DJO
