That's cute. She's doing very well. But when it's all said and done, someone should teach her proper phonetics so she doesn't sound like a lid. But I forgot. Nobody elmers newcomers these days so they pick up all sorts of incorrect procedures. Nowadays kids parrot what they hear from their parents and environment and this young lady is no exception. Beyond teaching the test questions, most clubs fall way short of elmering and mentoring and do nothing to teach correct procedure, etiquette, and how to operate properly. New hams must learn from whatever sources, be they right or wrong. It shouldn't be that way. Just listen to 3840, 7255, and 14313 and you'll hear what I am talking about. In haste to get involved with Michigan QSO Party,I logged my contacts in ACLog. I have been looking, but have not found a way to directly convert my log file (extension mdf) to Cabrillo format.
