Re: Auto Backup for AC Log
Pat Whelton
Chris. You can already do that now in ACLog.
In ACLog click on File, then Backup Options and the 3rd choice down
reads: “Write a permanent backup of your log each time you close the
program to:” and there is a blank field. In this blank field I typed in
“I:\ACLog-Backup”. Then I placed a thumb drive in I: drive and leave it
there. All my ACLog backups go there. Since the thumb drive is not a
permanent part of the PC if anything happens to my PC I have the backups offsite
on the thumb drive.
Hope this helps.

Log
You have Dropbox and I found out I have Onedrive. I
saved my log and Tqsl data to Onedrive and just installed AC Log on another PC
in the house. I downloaded all the needed data from Onedrive. I will
replace my thumb drive and will continue to upload to LoTW as often as possible,
but it would be very nice if AC Log had the ability to be backed up to an
additional location in addition to the PC it's on after each and every
QSO. That would insure no QSOs would be lost if/when data is
lost.
