Telnet DX cluster nodes seem to come and go like mayflies.

There is a relatively recent list in the file gallery at the N1MM+ web site. Go to the Additional Support Files gallery at <http://n1mm.hamdocs.com/tiki-list_file_gallery.php?galleryId=5> and download the file "clusters 1-10-2019.txt" into the Documents\N1MM Logger+|ExportFiles folder. Open the Telnet window, select the Clusters tab and click on the Edit List button. In the Edit Telnet List window that opens, use the File > Import menu item to import the file you just downloaded. Exit fhe Edit window and try one of the clusters in that list - it's a recent list, so most of the entries should still be good.

M1MMLoggerPlus Window resize

Dr

Hi

Is there a way to resize the main N1MMLoggerPlus window more than once.

The other logger windows can be resized as many times as you want.

Thank you

Spectrum Window Static Reduction

Tom - N1MM

Attached are pictures showing static reduction in the Spectrum window.

As you can see from the picture of the radio screen, there was a lot of static on 40m.  The top of the other picture shows the old static reduction approach using IC-7610 via CAT.  The lower part of that picture shows the static reduction approach used for radios supported via ExtIO and for the IC-7610 via FTDI.

Dave,

You are welcome to try my telnet DX node, which runs VE7CC's CC  Cluster.  Other than relocating from Western Washington to North Central Kentucky in the summer of 2016, it has been up and available almost continuously. The user load is very light so there's plenty of room. The various issues with telnet and Windows come and go in the form of internet outages and forced Windows updates. Nevertheless it is just a simple matter of reconnecting. Autoconnect, autoreconnect, and keep alive are very helpful if your telnet client supports those features.  Here is the information for my DX node. Everyone is welcome:

w7jd.ddns.net, Port 9000

Also, the companion CC User program works well with CC Cluster. I hope this helps.

Best regards,

Hi Tom,

That workaround is a big help but only on the Left side of the display.  And for obvious reasons (Spectrums fixed to each VFO) you can't use the CHANGE button to make Left side changes.

Saving window positions

Jim N7US

I like the option to be able to save and restore window positions.  I have two monitors which gives me flexibility, but I frequently switch between RTTY and CW, so I typically reposition windows each time I change modes.

A feature that I liked in Writelog was that it saved window positions for each contest, as I remember.  I realize that N1MM window positions can be saved by operator.  Can that feature be used to save windows by mode without impacting the operator shown in the Cabrillo log?

Hi Jim,

What I do is set up .ini files with a unique name for each mode, radio or other need.  Then create a shortcut with a Target like this:
"W:\N1MM Logger+\N1MMLogger.net.exe" "INI=n1mm logger-IC7300.ini"

That's for my IC-7300 and I use the default shortcut for my IC-7610.

I also created one without rig or more settings for reviewing logs or updating N1MM Logger+:
"W:\N1MM Logger+\N1MMLogger.net.exe" "INI=N1MM Logger-Review.ini"

Updates only need be done on one ini.  I usually use the Review for updates.
