Never mind... I discovered that I already had a user name, i.e., my call sign, and I was able to get the password fixed.
I'm in to the right place.

Info window changes for tomorrow's release

John Bednar

For those that are testing code, I have made the following changes for tomorrow’s release.

The Info window in today’s release was built with a 60 minute Goals Chart (right chart) resolution. The Release Notes indicated 20 minutes.

John, K3CT

Info Window: Eliminated error when Import Goals from Log was used. (Coded by K3CT)

Info Window: Moved the Import & Edit Goals buttons to the right-click menu. (Coded by K3CT)

Info Window: Changed the rightmost bar in the Rates Chart (left chart) to cumulative Qso's since the top of the hour. (N2IC) (Coded by K3CT)

Info Window: Commented out some unused functions. Added some exception code. (Coded by K3CT)

Info Window: Changed the Goals Chart (right chart) to step size of 30 minutes. I will make this user programmable in the future. (Coded by K3CT)

"Proposed Functionality Improvements"

N1MM <tfwagner@...>

I uploaded subject document to the N1MM Logger+ Beta gallery. It is a Word document that contains a summary of changes to the application. It's only a couple of pages, and is worth reading.

Please do not forward the summary. It is to be revealed at Dayton.

Runtime error after installing

Franki ON5ZO

Hello guys, I'm glad to see things moving and to be part of it!

First off: I can't post to the bug report site as mentioned in the alpha tester's PDF (yes I'm logged in):
"You do not have permission to use this feature: tiki_p_forum_read"

BUG:
I installed 0.4.1725.0 on my Vista (yeah I know and hate it too) laptop.
I ran the program and picked the option to create a new database. That gives me a sticky Runtime Error Occured window (msg below) that I can't get rid of except by terminating the process.
Oh wait - a clue: each time I click the OK button, the message renews for the next alphabteical prefix in...

When I tried to convert the existing Access DB, the program starts just fine.

Start from scratch on config

Dave Hachadorian

I just installed NL+, and I started from scratch on setting up all the config tabs. There's no easy way to port over all that stuff, right? It's been a long time since I messed with all that, but it all seems to be working so far. Got it set up for so2r sending cw and rtty. Winkeyer works for cw and all mode ptt. LPT A/B signal works.

If I exit the program and restart, MMTTY com ports come up correctly. If I reboot the computer, both MMTTY's come up com 4 - not a big deal.

I tried one time to convert my 6000 QSO W1AW/7 general log database, but it did not convert properly, and I got stuck in an endless loop, where I couldn't even open NL+. I finally had to delete NL+ and reinstall. I hope that doesn't happen again, and force me to re-enter all the station data and config info.

Re: Start from scratch on config

Steve London

In the folder where you installed N1MM Logger, there will be a familiar looking N1MM Logger.ini . In the Databases folder under the installation folder, there will be N1MM Admin.s3db . If you need to reinstall NL+, save both of those files first and restore them after installation.
