That was the problem. I didn't realize that the window only opens when the previous QSO was a different continent.

Thanks everyone for the help.

Why is the rotor broadcast sent to both 12040 and 12045 ?

Have you sent this to Jeff, W2FU ?

Are you sure you are using the correct contest? The correct one should be WAERTTY.

Once you have logged a call CTRL-Z opens the QTC RX Window. There is nothing else that key combo is used for except opening the QTC window first in RX mode then a second press of the combination will switch to QTC Send mode.

Just found that I have the same problem in run mode. Ctrl-Z does nothing.

Re: Intermittent QTC window not showing in S&P

Some basics to check: There must be a call sign from a different continent in the Entry window, otherwise the QTC window will not open. The program has to know who to send the QTCs to or receive them from for the log, and the rules specify that the two stations must be in different continents. If the call sign is one with which you have already exchanged 10 QTCs, the window will not open either; and if you do not have unsent QTCs available, the Send QTCs window will not open. If the required conditions are all met and the window still does not open, then there is a problem.

I have not had any other reports on this. Log a call and press CTRL-Z and the receive window should pop up on top of the other windows.

I've been trying to get QTC working in the WAE RTTY contest but having an intermittent issue. The QTC window does not come up when I'm in S&P mode consistently -- it does seem to work when in run mode. Any suggestions? Using 1.0.7300

Re: Voiced Message

That is one of the reasons the call sign is put in F5 and the actual exchange in F2. Just press F5 to send the K9?, and only press Enter (or ; or the Insert key) when you want to send the call sign and exchange combination. This works in CW as well as SSB.

For a short delay, just create a "delay.wav" file with your desired duration of silence and put that in your exchange message before the # (equivalent to putting a ~ in front of the # in a CW message).

Also in CW adding the ~ can add short pieces of time into a string, is there a way to do the same with the wav files? I'd like to have a bit more time after the last letter of the call and the serial number,

A bit of a pain but I’ve just finished editing the club’s file and it submitted OK.

Interestingly, I noticed the log I submitted for last year did not contain any signal reports and it was still accepted. I think the problem may be more to do with correct spacing.

Found this on the UK HF Contesting Forum:

The Cabrillo output for my log from the RSGB ClubCalls contest last night does not contain either the sent or received RS(T) fields.  The contest robot has flagged this as a problem.  Blanket filling with 59(9) is not a solution as several staions gave real signal reports hi.  Using V 1.0.7300.0 of N1MM+ which seems to be the latest version.  I cannot see that anyone else has posted here with this problem; log submittal deadline is 2359 UTC tonight.  It would be nice if there was a simple solution, otherwise I will need to edit 100 qsos :-(

You can chain silent audio files with the others. With Audacity, 'mute all channels' and make silent audio files of any length.

Experimental version for OKOMDX contest (updated per new rules) is available here:

http://n1mm.hamdocs.com/tiki-list_file_gallery.php?galleryId=20

If you already made some QSOs in the contest you can install this version and rescore the contest to get correct points/multipliers.

If you do not see OKOM districts in Multipliers/Sections window you will have to download OKOMDX.sec file from here:

http://n1mm.hamdocs.com/tiki-download_file.php?fileId=4802

copy it into C:\Users\{user name}\Documents\N1MM Logger+\SupportFiles folder, go to contest config window (File/Open Log In Database…) and click “Import Section List” button.

Let us know if you have any problem with this experimental version.

What is confusing with this contest to my understanding, is that there are two contests: OK/OM CW and OK/OM SSB. They have different rules, different multipliers and point counting.
