The only window I have trouble with is the Rotor window. I have several N1MM Logger+ setups and the Rotor window will not stay where I put it in each setup. It moves the the last loaded N1MM Logger+ setup.

Re: ESM IN S&P Not Going To F4

Rick, THAT WORKED! Thanks! I would never have connected that to the ESM method. It was checked; I unchecked it, and, since RTTY signals are rare except during contests, I used my Icom 706MKIIG and a laptop to send some calls, while receiving on the Kenwood TS-2000X. Left-click on the call, then right-click, and voila! It goes to F4 instead of F8, just like it used to do. I did not check that box; it has worked properly for months( years? ) until a week or two ago. What happened? Only the Shadow knows!  Thanks again.

P.S. I notice you said " In some contests ". So, I guess that in some certain other contests that I'll have to go in there and put a check in that box if it does not work like it should.

Ron,

When you say this....have you tried it in S&P mode on both bands/radios simultaneously?

What I'm trying to figure out is....it "mostly" seems to work (page up/page dn) if I have been running on 2 bands and/or sending some with the paddle and then go to change the speeds with page/up-page/dn, BUT, if I am am S&Ping on 2 bands, like in the QSO parties yesterday, bouncing from radio to radio, tuning around, the page-up/page-down does not always seem to work. I can't figure out if it's time related, keyer focus related, # of times I've hit a function key related or what.  Seems to vary.  I have seen many times hitting page-up/dn on one keyboard, change the speed on the other radio....but again, I spent hours in 2 bands, 2 KB, S&P mode y'day.

Pse cfm.

Tnx

Re: 2 Keyboards & paddle focus

Since the latest fix to the PgUp/PgDn keyboard-radio association I've had no problem with this. Right KB changes right radio speed and left KB changes left radio speed.

I have experienced an intermittent problem when, in ESM, if I hit enter on the left KB it gets sent to the right radio, and vice versa. This appears to only happen if I do it within milliseconds after the other radio's PTT drops at the end of a message transmission. Being slightly less trigger happy avoids the problem.

Re: 2 Keyboards & paddle focus

VE9AA - Mike

I should've clarified that statement.  Sometimes hitting page up/page down on the right keyboard will change the speed on the left radio (and vice versa) but not every time.  I even made sure the keyer had focus using the CTRL+LEft arrow (or right arrow) method but this didn't always work either.

I felt like a great big lid calling these 18-20wpm runners at 32wpm 'cuz I couldn't get the speed to change.  oofg!

The best, most honest answer I can give you is "sometimes"....and by that I mean, sometimes on the wrong radio/entry window and sometimes on the the right radio.  It "seems" to be an independent issue from the keyboard (or keyer) focus)
.
I saw this dozens of times in the various QSO parties I was in y'day.
Even using the mouse and the teeny weeny little up/dn arrows only works sometimes.....

I have heard from one other SO2R 2KB user who wishes to remain anonymous that he is experiencing the same thing. I've only been doing 2 KB's a couple days (so really I know very little) but he says he thinks this quirk may have started a month or so ago.

I am too new to it to give a reasonable explanation.

I have one thing to try tonight to see if I can get it to work every time....

Tnx Steve !

Traditional methods do not seem to be working and so I have tried various keystrokes and mouse clicks and have a "sometimes" solution.
In the higher speed contests when I am running it's a non-issue, but in any contest where I am predominantly S&P (QSO Parties, WAG, etc.) it's a BIG issue as I encounter very fast or very slow runners and wish to match their speeds.
I have one more thing to try tonight that was suggested to me after I had pulled the big switch last night, so I'll (hopefully) post an update later on re: keyer speeds.

Hi Luis

New Clusters get added to the server when users of that Cluster send automated reports meeting the selection criteria described in my message. Aside from that, there is no way to get added to the list.

So, tell all your friends to start using your cluster and it will magically appear in the Live Cluster List. ;-)

Hi, I just installed the software and I receive a "System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object" when I start the software.  The full error message is below.  I have unistalled and reinstalled the full suite, and I have rebooted multiple times. Any suggestions?

I did a short time in the WIQP, and made up a copy of the summary window, but find a questionable number.

Why is that 69 instead of 52? The rest are correct. 1 Point PH and 2 CW
