OK, works fine, but is there the possibility to have the name printed in the "call history file window" together with HSC Number?
Now only HSC number is shown!

Thanks and sorry for renewed question!
Gerard.

Hi Gerald.

Use the corrected Call History from N1MM+ site:

Name is not  part of the exchange,  if you want to say TU “name”
You have to include the macro {name} in your TU message.

Hi there,

I will use N1MM in the next HSC CW contest (Sunday November 3).
I down loaded Fabian's DJ1YFK call history file, witch is working well.
File includes station name, but does not show it in the call history file window (shows only HSC number).
I would like to get the name to greet the station.
Could some one help me to change the set-up to have the name appear  if this is possible?

Thanks a lot for you help.

There is a box to select the mode to use when setting up for the contest.

Mike,

Thank you. This is such a marvelous
program. I haven't used many options and
over the winter when I'm indoors, I'm
going to become more familiar with it.

Taking your advice, I shut down N1mm &
restarted it from the program list in Win
10, it started on the last contest I was
in, a Russian one. Selected CQWWSSB &
entered SSB in the call field/enter and
sure enough, it's logging perfectly though
the mode in the score still shows CW & the
Cabrillo shows mixed.

I suspect by the way I started this
contest, it'll persist, but I'll remember
this for the next SSB contest and I'm sure
it'll deal with it properly.

Next time, just type "SSB" in the callsign entry field and hit enter.

Re: Win 10/64 Sound card levels too high

Joe Subich, W4TV

The manual seems to say that the mic gain controls them both.
Mic gain controls mic level when a mic input is selected (MENU:MIC
SEL=rP.x or FP.x) and controls Line Level when the LINE IN is
selected (MENU:MIC SEL=LINE IN).

In order to adjust the sound card transmit level, you will need to
select "MENU:MIC SEL=LINE IN", adjust modulation using MIC Gain then
then reselect "MENU:MIC SEL=rP.x" or "MENU:MIC SEL=FP.x" to reenable
the mic input and return the mic gain control to the mic input.

Note: I'm assuming you have MENU:MIC+LIN=ON.

Line audio level is a separate control from mic gain.  I believe mine is set around seven.  You should be able to use the record and playback audio levels within N1MM+ to fine tune from there.

If I was home could verify the set up completely.  Will be home tomorrow.  ER with N9LFE tonight.

Re: Delay with voice memories in Flex 6600

Ignacy Misztal

Worked fine and gone again.
This must have something to do with the TX stream. When voice memories are working, TX Stream is streaming. When voice memory is not working, TX streaming does not show any signal. I wonder whether this has something to do with the sound card in the PC.

What is the level of the K3s’ “Line In” setting?  Try setting it to a lower value.

OK, that worked, but still an issue. Any value higher than 2 on that slider and the K3's ALC is pegged and the .wav files are significantly louder than my live audio. Is there anything else in the chain that affects transmitted .wav file audio levels?

Howard,

You need to perform a one-time manual update to refresh your outdated version of the program. You can read those instructions here:

Hi;
From inside my N1MM (about 4 months old) I tried to use the Tool to update the software but my computer keeps reporting that the domain name can't be resolved. I have checked at this end and my internet connection is working fine and I am able to resolve other domain names.
Any thought would be appreciated.
