There is a UDC available for download. It is called "TENTEN.zip". The enclosed UDCs both have RTTY in their names, but the notes say that they can be used for all modes.

Bill,

I made the change to add “PE” but I haven’t been able to finish my pending changes. Use anyone of these:

"MAR", "NL", "QC", "ON", "MB", "SK", "AB", "BC", "NT", "GTA", "ONE", "ONN", "ONS"

Thanks for the update, now I still have a problem when I try to update my station data. When I enter PE for ARRL Section, it indicates that is not correct. Comments?

Re: icom 7300 ...radio not responding.

Ed,

Make sure you disable the Windows power down of the USB ports in your computer. When Windows updates reset these settings you will need to repeat.

You may need to wrap the USB cable three or more turns in a type 31 or 43 ferrite core near the radio. Some bad cases of RF in the shack require a ferrite at each end of the cable.

Hi Ron and tnx for the reply. It is now working. I tried your suggestion and went through my settings again. After considerable "horsing around", I found that under ci-v the baud rate was set to auto and appraently did not match the baud rate in the program...9600. Now does all its tricks. 73, Ed W8EO

If you plan on using the built in Spectrum display you will need to increase your baud rate to 115200 or the spectrum will not work..

Go to the website >Docs >Supported >Supported Contests List and use your browser's find for "10-10" or "tenten"

The name of the UDC file is TENTENRTTY... but it applies to all of the TenTen QSO parties.

Re: RCC Cup

NA3M Nick

Jeff,

RCCCUP was removed by mistake some time ago and reappeared in one of the latest versions (1.0.8351).

If you are using older versions you should update to 1.0.8351 or newer.

I've had similar issues, sometimes with 9 or even 12 error messages from MM regarding current and previously-used ports. Usually, rebooting Windows fixes it. I still get redundant port reports but usually they're benign.

No Steve, I don't really like that but it's what I suspected ... the error comes up 3 times early in N1MM+ initialization.  Device Mangler says everything is hunky dory with COM14.  I'm wondering if something has croaked in the RRC1258 that provides those 4 virtual ports.

Plan B will be to operate in 7QP without CAT sensing of frequency.  I've done it before, with any luck, I'll forget to take N1MM+ along with radio frequency changes only once or twice. [:=)  Thanks for the scoop

It means N1MM+ got a System.IO.IOException when we asked Microsoft to open the serial port.

According to the MS documentation, it occurs when the serial port is in an invalid state.

Open device manager, unplug and re plug the USB cable in, verify the Com Port has not changed. If it has, change accordingly in the software.
