Similar setup here Mark – just given it a quick test and seems to be working fine (No Lockups)

Odd problem using N1MM+ and Fldigi.  If I have to type a backspace while transmitting free-form txt, the transmission locks up.  I can turn TX off and on to restart but that is awkward.  Any ideas?  Running N1MM+ ver 1.0.8423 and Fldigi ver 4.1.12 under Win10.

The ARRL does not require a dupe sheet with the submission.

Long ago (a decade or more) I wrote a Basic (FreeBasic) program that reads the ADIF export file and produces what the ARRL wants. I'll make it available if anyone is interested.

I don't own a Ic-7100 but just downloaded the manual and did some skimming/searching and if CW can be keyed through USB, I missed it.

See page 1-14 of the manual (rear panel descriptions)

At first glace at least, it looks like you need to key it though the CW jack (using a keyer of some kind....Winkeyers Winkeyers are very popular with contesters.

I know this is not the answer you seek.  Maybe an IC-7100 owner will let us know if that's correct info.

Hello again.
I see that this configuration that you indicate, is not to be used with the usb itself that incorporates the icom ic7100.
If not, it is to put an external modem since it needs a separate circuit to be able to act on the CW plug of the equipment.

It is not what I need.
The 7100 has the possibility, without the need for an external modem, to be able to carry out these tasks.

anyone knows why it does not give the tones in CW.
since in fonia if it makes the corresponding Cq call.
Thank you.

Dave,

Good catch.

This message is a duplicate, the same message appears in the About splash screen at program startup.

We need to clear the Entry window status message or remove it.

I guess this question about the experimental version is for Andy, KU7T.

Switching back and forth between logs I see a "please wait" message at the bottom of the entry windows (plural because I'm always set up for SO2R), not only on the first use of that log but on subsequent uses as well. Specifically, right now they both read:

'DXLog Db' is being optimized. Please wait....

The messages do eventually change to say the optimization has been completed -- I don't remember the exact wording and right now it is taking a VERY long time (many minutes) in the "being optimized" state.

Does anything bad happen if you use the program while "please wait" is displayed? I have logged some QSOs while that message was visible and they appear normal in the log window.

Most  radios, I think the 7100 is one of them, will not do radio control and CW from the same port, see

Good afternoon everyone, I have an icom ic-7100, which I have connected the program to.

in what refers to ssb, the program correctly makes the call that I have recorded, voice.

but when I put in CW, although it is configured to do CQ CQ in F1, the station is put in transmission, but does not give the tones.

it is as if you activate the ptt only but it does not release any tone.

I have reviewed all the settings, but I don't see where the problem may be.

Can somebody help me.

Thank you.

I put the configuration in case it was not correct

Thanks

OK thanks, I was using N1MM+ yesterday in the (Ukraine) Digifest contest in which RTTY was 75 baud and nothing filled the bandplan except 45 baud signals.

So you do give a crap what time it is in a time zone (UTC) not used as local time anywhere in the world!

Re: Bug: New Contest in Database Ambiguous Start Time

Needs to be stated in N1MM+ interface, when starting a new contest in log ...

Re: Bug: New Contest in Database Ambiguous Start Time

I’ve never payed attention to the start time either.

In any event, it is UTC. It’s always UTC.

However, it is not clear whether the start time is UTC or local.
This should be made clear.  It is a bug otherwise.

Specifically the installation section?

So I can set the Windows clock to UTC time zone, and the UTC time, and N1MM+ will work properly?
(Cuz I am a Unix guy, and computer clocks are always set to UTC except in brain-damaged OSes.)
