Until recent updates STATISTICS pane gave the total number of contacts in a contest including dupes.  Now it reflect the total in the SCORE pane.  In the NAQP the dupes were counted in both panes even with two dupes in the log.

Create your Cabrillo log. Open it in Notepad or an ASCII text editor and make sure your header info is correct. Copy the entire log to the clipboard [Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C in Windoze]. Go to ncjweb.com, navigate to log submittals for the NAQP, fill out the form, and paste your entire log into the big blank space [Ctrl-V in Windoze]. The space will stretch to contain your log. Click on Submit. You'll get an immediate reply, and an email confirming your submittal. You should find your call in Logs Received within a few minutes.

Sending it via email may take awhile to get acknowledged.

Don't close the second radio window prior to closing the program itself?

When I exit MM with both entry windows active, it comes up the same way next time.

Pete,

Try this Link. I found it very easy. If you can generate the Cabrillo file, it should be a breeze.

Re: How to remove calls from stack (logthenpop)

Rick Ellison

Paul..

I’m wondering why you are getting garbage in the stack. Do you have hover mode turned on?? If so turn it off. Calls will populate the stack by click on a call in the rx window and when you click on another call it will be placed in the entry window and the one you had in the entry window will be placed on the stack. So I’m trying to figure why you are getting garbage on the stack..

Okay, I think I found what I'm looking for...

There is a macro: (CLRSTACK) that should take care of my problem.

Maybe it's just in the way I'm using the stack - but I end up with call signs (or partial call signs) that I'm not aware of - that are still in there after I've finished a set of "NOW..QSO's .

Then the next time I try to use my "NOW" macro, it loads that incorrect stuff instead of what I am expecting and messes things up.

I use ESM except for the "NOW" function which I have as a separate keystroke.  If it was totally automated with ESM I think it would keep pulling those stacked callsigns until the stack was empty but I didn't like the way that was working either for the same reason mentioned above.

Now if I put this (CLRSTACK) into my QC macro I'm thinking that it should solve the problem.

Thanks,

Hi Dany,

It appears that the posts were out of order (at least on my end)  So I had already poked around in the macro section and found the macro that you describe in your post.

Thank you very much for the confirmation though...I think this is exactly what I was looking for.

Oops;

As per N2IC's comment in another conversation, my description is inaccurate in that I should have said that the scroll bars can't be removed from the bottom pane, not the main log section. Fortunately, my attached picture was more succinct than I was.

It is generally not possible to get the Log window horizontal scroll bars to disappear, starting in revision v1.0.5433.0 and also in v1.0.5438.0. The last column is always too "wide" no matter how wide the Log window. Example jpg is attached.

This is with Windows 10 and was working OK up to v1.0.5413.0. I used HADX as the test, although the problem also shows up on at least the DX log as well. The last (pts) column always overflows the window, but it cannot be made narrower.

If it isn't immediately obvious, the following will reproduce the problem.

RT Click on Log Window

Delete custom column widths

Auto-Set Column widths

Horizontal scroll bars are visible

Click on the Log Window maximize window

Click "restore down" to get the window back to normal size

Frank,

The document I was given to work with was titled “XK2100_OM_Remote.pdf”.

The first page title is “HF Transceiver Family R & S XK2000”.

The first page starts at  Section 4.0.

I don’t understand your driver question.

Hi all:

I am completely new to N1MM Logger. I have an ADT-200A (from www.adat.ch) and would like to make N1MM Logger talk to the radio for CAT control.

I see there is a "RhodeSchwarz“ entry in the list for radios. I would like to emulate this type of radio - and now I am looking for information on what kind of R&S radio is supported, what the driver is (VISA?), a.s.o. …

Any hints / links / info?

Re: How to remove calls from stack (logthenpop)

It would be incorrect to clear the stack when a CQ is sent.

The stack can be used store a partial callsign that fades into the noise.

I quite often get extra (or garbage) calls in the "logthenpop" stack in the band map and need to delete them or they will soon cause problems...

I know that ALT+D will do this, but is there a way to automate it?

It seems like there should be a setting that could delete them the next time a "CQ" is sent.

I have looked for such a setting but so far I have not found one.

Thanks,

My 0-9 and a-z .was files are in a folder called NUMLET which is a sub-folder of WAV.

I never had problems with voicing calls in Classic. The instructions in the new tutorial are, to me, unclear.

In Config/ other, what is typed in the DVK window? Could a couple of examples please be provided? TNX

Winkey PTT provides a few neat features on CW, which work well together in a contest environment.
1.  Function key messages can be sent with nearly zero vox delay.
2.  Radio sidetones can be set to zero for SO2R, but paddle sending still beeps the Winkey speaker.
3.  Paddle sending has its own PTT vox-type delay set by the Winkey.

Here are my N1MM Winkey tab settings:
Paddle-only sidetone
Ignore Winkey speed pot
Five selectable parameters at bottom 1, 0, 0, 0, 1.0

Re: Anybody else out there using Winkey PTT during CW?

Jim W7RY

The radio here is a OLD Kenwood TS-430S so no computer control.

So it has ONLY two ways to go into transmit mode.

1- Via VOX on SSB, and the VOX control in semi breakin on CW,

OR

2- Via The send/rec switch on the front panel, ( not very good for contesting )
OR
By Using the PTT contacts in either the Mic connector, or the rear panel jack, Close either of these sets of contacts and rig goes into transmit.

I have a foot switch going into the mic connector,

Joe WB9SBD

Joe... Did you get your question answered about using PTT function from a Winkeyer?

There is really no need to use PTT from the keyer if your just using it for CW. Simply put your radio into break in mode, or turn on the VOX. So when the winkeyer puts out dits and dahs, the radio transmits. Just as if your using a straight key or keyer paddle. I have used the winkeyer for PTT but have stopped using this. I invoke PTT through the rig control command for both CW and RTTY. (I don’t enter SSB contests).

Please let me know if you need more help.
