Re: Filter spots by PREFIX - telnet window / filters

Bostjan,

If that is the case, then checking the "from" check box and enter the prefixes separated by spaces as shown in the manual should work.

In fact, this example does work: (eg) K1 K2).

However, I did not have any success using non USA prefixes. Perhaps we still don't understand how it is supposed to work, or it could be broken.

I do not think that the local filtering is going to do what you would like. From what I can tell, the filter by prefix is for filtering the spot source, not the DX call.

Hi

This is valid question and you will get answer from developers side, but most effective and recommended filtering is on the server side. Commands differs slightly from server to server, but can easily be found on the net. I have bookmarked these:

If you want only spots from DJ3AK, use a filter of DL3. Use the base prefix for that country, as shown in the Entry window status bar and append the appropriate number.

Enter the prefixes you want as a space delimited list.

It is much better to filter at the cluster.

Hello!

What is the right string to put in the filter spots by prefix if i wanted to get only spots from:

Slovenia, Croatia, Austria and Italy

Should it be like:
1.   S5, 9A, OE, I

2. S5 9A OE I

Or other way to filter them properly ?

Thanks, i tryed lots of different options but couldnt make it going ( if i write only I, the IW IT IK spots are all grey).

This is only a guess, but try using the wild card character “ * “ so that they read:  S5*,9A*,OE*,I*   separated by a comma with no spaces.

Hope this works for you.

SO2R & Flexradio on german keyboard Stereomode

Emil Bergmann

Hello guys,

i have Flex-6700 and use SO2R with N1MM Plus and german keyboard.

When I want to switch to STEREO Mode  (two slices will be ON simultaneously all the time) with Tilde Key it’s not working. They are not opportunity’s to do this on other keyboard than US. I should switch in windows to the US keyboard and that klick the same key (tilde) like on US keyboard.

Additional “Config  - Sub receiver always ON” not make any different when using N1MM in SO2R and Flexradio.

I would suggest for stereo mode another (international) key on keyboard to use instead of tilde key, or couple the “Config  - Sub receiver always ON” in SO2R as Stereo switch.

Can you give me please short feedback or Tipp about this?

Thanks in advance

Emil,

de DL8JJ

That's a tQSL error message, not an N1MM+ message. There is something wrong with your tQSL installation and/or setup.

Rich,
That is what I have tried to do a couple of different ways with no success. I am using the latest update of TSQL and  N1MM Version 5354. Never had this problem before.

I wonder if I have a corrupted TSQL file.

I have compared the ADI file with a previoous contest and can see no glitches, both appear in similar format.

Re: ARRL Web-based Robot complains about Cabrillo

Dave Sergeant

Further to this, I have just realised that earlier versions of N1MM and
N1MM+ did add the leading zeros to the Cabrillo regardless of what was
set in the configuration. The last serial number contest I entered
earlier was WPX in May when I was using 1.0.4939.0 and that shows all
the leading zeros (set for four figure serials, ie starting at 0001).
1.0.5354.0 which I used in ARRL 10m is missing the leading serials,
something has changed.

You must realise that N1MM is partly to blame for this issue in that by
default it doesn't add leading zeros. These can be enabled in the
configuration for the CW sending, but serials displayed in the log and
entry window and also in the saved Cabrillo do not show leading zeros
and I can see no way to enable them.

Personally I always do send leading zeros, as in fact do most stations
on the air. I would also prefer my submitted Cabrillo to reflect this as
well, but it seems not possible.

Re: convert N1MM+ to classic database

rin JG1VGX

Hi,

You can convert it per log basis (not the whole database) following way.

In Plus:
- Export the contest log to an ADIF.

In Classic:
- Use v14.9.0, the latest.
- Update to and import the latest wl_cty.dat (under Tools menu).
- Create a new, exactly the same contest log.
- Import the ADIF above.
- Rescore.

Re: Re ARRL 10M test

gbyahoo@...

Sam,

Are you using the latest version of tqsl? Here is a note about a possible reason for this error.

The format of the QSO database has been updated to improve the performance when signing a log file. The format of an existing database will be upgraded automatically when first used. Note that once the database has been updated, downgrades to TQSL 2.0 will cause database errors indicating "Invalid Argument". Copying TQSL?s files from a system running TQSL 2.0.1 onto a system running TQSL 2.0 will also display this "invalid argument" error. To avoid this, move your data and settings between computers using a .TBK (TQSL Backup) file.

Re: N1MM+ and Morse runner

Andy (KU7T)

Tom,

These instructions are directly taken from the AHK file already on your computer at "<your user folder>\SupportFiles\MorseRunner-N1MMLPlus.ahk"…

; How to use it:

; The AHK script it is already installed in your user folder under "<your user folder>\SupportFiles\MorseRunner-N1MMLPlus.ahk".  There is no need to download it from anywhere, the original script written by K7OG only works for N1MM Classic.

; Install AHK from http://www.autohotkey.com/

; Start new contest in N1MM Logger+ as WXP CW

; Turn off Rig control in N1MM Logger+

; Set ESM and run mode

; Launch Morserunner

; Launch AHK script by either:

; - browsing to it in Windows explorer, right clicking and running as administrator, or

; - configuring N1MM+ to launch the script on start (Configuration/Functionkeys/AHK script) and restart N1MM+

; In Morserunner, start a WPX competition by clicking Run/WPX competition

; You should now hear band noise

; Put entry focus on N1MM EntryWindow and hit F1

; Make some Qs...
