I found the steps  by WC7J and it works.
Unfortunately the Friday SSB sprint needs a serial number. So I'll have to use the old fashioned way of using the mike for it.

Thanks for the offer.

If that’s an IC-7610 , it absolutely does do voice messages. It’s in the manual. Email me at

Ns2n_pta {at} outlook {dot } com and I can walk you through it.

Shucks, I came back to brag about how I found it and tested it.
No way to add a voice S/N tho. The Icom only does them for CW
I'll check your reference!

Thanks Tom. I'm having a blast with your program.

Re: ESM Mode

Pete is right of course and that's good reading.
Why didn't you just fill in the contest dialog window with the correct information , rather than messing with incorrect macros with possibly unknown results?
That's probably the safer move.

Maybe I should have said "the only thing that can go in curly brackets *without potentially causing freaky results* are the names of macros."  It's not accepted practice (see <https://n1mmwp.hamdocs.com/setup/function-keys/#macros>.

Jim,

For several contests in the past month, I and others have noticed the slow change of mult/Q coloring and slow updates of other windows.

For example this was noted here by GU0SUP, KB7AK, GM0OPS for JARTS RTTY, and by  VE3VN for WAG. They noted that doing a rescore or closing then opening the window seemed to catch it up.

After creating two separate shortcut icons for my Icom-7300 and Icom-705, I am having difficulty with configuring MMTTY for each distinct radio.
I have created copies of MMTTY exe and ini files in a new directory and created different paths to the MMTTY exe files in the Digital Mode configuration window in N1MM but I am still getting crossover and not maintaining two distinct setups as each radio requires. The manual covers SO2R setup but I could not find any info on what I want to do.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Obviously doing something wrong.

I also have a shortcut set to run MMTTY as a stand-alone program

I use ctrl-Y instead of ctrl-Q to edit the previous contact. I'm using this with the Window-Eyes screen reader, and haven't really tried ctrl-Q to see if it behaves any differently.

That's not what I was asking for.  Sorry if I was not clear enough.

Once I hit control-Q  or up arrow to edit my  error  :  Unlike most  other windows, there seems to be no way to make the text larger in the edit dialog box.  I would like to have  larger text to see more easily.   There is no text sizer arrows as there are in the info, entry available, telnet bandmap   windows.

   Clearer ?
