Running Stations Don't Send 73?

David AD4TJ

The software automatically turns off Enable TX after only sending HisCall Mycall R 559 VA. So the running station is not required to send 73? Just making sure!

Special country file needed
The Gagarin Cup contest uses a special country list. In order to score properly, you need to import that country list into the database you will be using. First download the file by selecting the >Files >Additional Support Files menu on the N1MM Logger+ web page and copying the file Cty-CQM.dat to your N1MM Logger+ user directory. Then, from the Tools menu in the N1MM Logger+ program, select Import Country List from Downloaded File, and select the special Cty-CQM.dat file. Import it, and you’re good to go.

After the contest, don’t forget to re-import the wl_cty.dat file to restore the normal country list.

If you discover after the contest that you skipped this step, just be sure to submit your log in Cabrillo format, and the organizers will re-score it for you. Alternatively, you can import this special country list and re-score the contest (Tools > Rescore), but if you do that be sure to back up the database first, just in case.

If you go to the "Supported Contests List" web page in the manual and have your browser do a search for "Gagarin" (spelled correctly - but actually "gag" is all you need to type in) you will find it.

When you figure it out, pse lemme know Gary.  For me, it's W4NT that keeps showing as "blue" *(workable)
I don't know if this stn is a distributed m/m, but I copied 2 different counties between 20m and 40m, so that *may* be
why I am seeing this.

Tnx

Combine this with the "QSYing Wipes the Call & ..." option - you need them both together for the full effect. Without the "QSYing wipes ..." option, you will only see spots that you put there with the "Store" button (or Alt+O). Without the "Show Non-Workable..." option, you will only see spots for stations you stored but haven't worked yet.

OK. I'm obviously missing something important.

I selected QSOPARTY, and chose GA for the state. Everything looked good. My sent exchange is FL.  I tried to log a contact, and got the message: "Missing/Invalid Exchange"
I logged the RSTs as 59, and the exchange is SPAL, which is *supposed* to be Spalding County.  The section list indicates that SPAL is the correct abbreviation.

So I'm kind of stuck. I'm not finding anything in the docs that help. And I apologize for my stumbling - I'm pretty new to all of this, and I'm trying to not load up a bunch of noob questions, but I don't know what I am doing wrong.

After selecting QSOPARTY and then choosing the state, did you click on the "Import Section List" button? If not, you could give that a try to see if it clears things up.
