I do open WSJT within N1MM and not standalone. Apparently I am connected to N1MM because the FT8 QSO’s are logged in N1MM. I am just confirming that using HRD for the Radio Rig is a substitute for DX Lab ?

Follow the instructions in the pdf file. But make sure when you follow those direction that you have opened WSJT via the menu in N1MM. When you open WSJT it uses a different .ini than if you open WSJT in stand-alone mode. This allows for settings when you are running WSJT with HRD and you have settings when running WSJT with N1MM. WSJT-X is a program that allows you to work FT8 and some other modes. If you do a google search you will find the correct website to download it at. If you have never used it you might not want to try it this weekend in the contest. There is some learning to go along with using it.

Follow these directions.  Where it talks about Mode settings used for WSJT. No there is not a way to have SSB, CW, and WSJT all setup to use the same mode. If after you are done using WSJT close it out then type in the Entry Window call field SSB or CW to switch to those modes. Does the MMTTY icon appear on the taskbar?? If so hold your mouse over the icon and select move. I think the MMTTY window has moved off the screen. You other way to correct it in to open Windows Explorer and go to the directory where MMTTY is installed and delete userpara.ini and the mmtty.ini files. That way you will need to re-enter your mmtty settings..

When I load WSJT from the mm window drop down, I get error box, says in red close WSJT first to shut down properly, I shut down WSJT and reload, same message....WSJT seems to be controlling the rig, at least freq wise....did I miss a step?

It's the file called N1MMWSJTInstructions.pdf, and it's dated June 15 2019.

There is different coverage of the same material in the online manual web page describing the WSJT Decode List window, at <https://n1mmwp.hamdocs.com/manual-windows/wsjt-x-decode-list-window/>. That page was most recently edited on June 17.

Yes I updated it the other day. Goto the website click Downloads\File
Explorer\Additional Support Files and it's in the list of files.

Is there a newer setup guide somewhere on how to interface the 2? The one
google found me is from Jan 2018, and I believe there were several changes
since then...
