Larry,  my problem appears to be with the SO2R box and not N1MM+. Steve London and Paul Young are trying to help me offline.

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions.

Same here at times.  I am using the YCCC SO2R box and I believe that's where the issue lies.  Reinstalling the SO2R box firmware seems to fix it.

Larry, I uploaded the most recent firmware, but I've had problems with the previous version, too.  I have had other issues with the SO2R box software and believe (although not fully defined) that it might have something to do with USB 3.0 comports.

Dan, thanks for the suggestion. I tried that but it doesn't seem to have made a difference.

Waterfall Bandmap Problem Resolution Report

Peter Alterman

After Win 10 update, Waterfall Bandmap reported EXTIO.dll could not find RSP2.  Solution was to pull up "Open Devices and Printers" and Troubleshoot the RSP2.  Windows reset the USB connection and all is working.  BTW, the RSP2 does not show up in Device Manager under either Ports or USB Devices, but it's working so...

Dave,

If you set >Config from SO2R to just SO1V, does the problem persist when only keying one radio from the winkeyer?

Ted,

It doesn't happen every time but it happens on most if not all of the function keys. Both Run and S&P.

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions.  I think I'll wait a while, let MS and others work out the kinks in this version before I run the update again.  If it 'aint broke don't fix it.

What method of keying are you using, Dave? (Winkeyer, LPT, com port…?)

Does it happen on all F-keys or just certain ones?

RUN mode?  S&P?  Or both?

Is it consistent and repeatable?

Sorry I missed you at Dayton.

Thanks, George. In my case I'm sure more ferrite will not help as it occurs even when I am not transmitting (K3 in test mode).

Dave, I have had that problem of the function key sending only a single character and then nothing more.   When it did happen, I would reboot, which seemed to cure the problem for while. It has not happened recently, and that may be because I added ferrites to a bunch of cables.

Guys,

I think I've seen this problem mentioned before but I can't locate it in the archive.

Getting ready for CW WPX (as NW7R), sometimes when I hit a function key only the first character of the stored message or callsign is sent and then it appears to hang up. I can get out of it by hitting Escape but I'd rather not have to do that a few hundred times this weekend.

I was QRT for 9 days while on a road trip to Dayton and the Windows 10 update was done when I turned the computer back on. Rebooting doesn't seem to help. I'm running N1MM+ V.1.0.7177.0.

All help appreciated.
