Re: self-spot using Telnet function key

I would suggest not spotting yourself as it's grounds for disqualification:

"3.14. In contests where spotting nets are permissible, spotting your own station or requesting another station to spot you is not permitted."

Good luck.

I would like to program a function key in the Telnet window to self-spot during the upcoming ARRL CW SS contest.

I tried using DX {freq} {mycall}

but that was rejected by the packet cluster due to the format of the frequency, which was output as 7005R0 instead of 7005.0.

Can I reformat the {freq} output, or is there another environment variable I can use?

Any suggestions, please?
