Club shack power supply appears to be dead
Members may be aware of the issues we've been having with the power supply unit in the club shack.
To cut a long story short, I suspect that the second (replacement) unit may now have failed too. Today, I was running 35W using FT8 when the radio shut down on me again and now I cannot connect to the Flex at all. The Kiwi is still working and the Sonoff is responding OK so the shack hasn't burnt down, but nothing from the Flex. I thought it might be doing it's firmware upgrade process, so tried the Admin PTT on the Sonoff app, but still nothing. Unless anyone else has any suggestions, I suggest a site visit will be required and probably a new 40A+ PSU installing. If anyone has a lead on an affordable heavy duty power supply, then please get in touch. Just thought I'd let everyone know. Berni M0XYF |

Stock several desk top PSUs My 40A is SK 650664 price £84.60 + VAT A bit fan noisy but electrically quiet, it drives my 400 amp Linear OK! I would recommend 200W maximum for reliability.
