Changes to the MSARS Website

A few bullet points regarding changes to the website.

1) The method of 'contacting' the club via the website has changed. It used to be via groups.io, and is now via a simple contact form. The reasons for this are long and boring, so I'll spare you the details, but it's a lot more user-friendly now for external entities. Unfortunately, it's more work and more responsibility too, but Alan Cragg has agreed to take that on the chin, so well done to him. Alan is now the sole recipient of all messages received via the website. Brave man!

2) All the other contact-type information has been moved from the 'Contact' category to the 'About Us' category. This includes all the groups.io information (this has been more clearly positioned as discussion-based chat and less as contact information) as well as all the Committee information and phone numbers etc. These articles were somewhat 'orphaned' once the new contact form was implemented. If I can think of a better place to put them, I will. Unfortunately, you can only have so many things on the main menu.

3) I'm sure you all have my email address, but if anyone needs to get hold of me directly via the website, then you can exploit the cheeky backdoor of sending me a message via the 'Registration' page: https://msars.org.uk/register

4) I'll soon be re-writing the Training page to reflect the current reality, and to point to the new training academy, which I'll be working on over the winter. I know, I've been busy, but I WILL get around to it.

Any questions, just ask. I'm on a course for the next two weeks, but I'll try and stay in touch.

Regards,
