11 October 2022 (sorry for the late report) - There was a single Cackling Goose and a juvenile Greater White-fronted Goose foraging in the grass just north of the parking lot at Van Damme State Park. The Cackler was of the Pacific variety, not the Aleutian (no neck-ring). It seemed an odd couple of geese to find by themselves at that location.
