Lisa, Congrats on a great find … according to Chuck who monitors our MEN records it is the tenth record … all fall. The “chuck” call note helps to ID

Lisa Walker texted me to say the Orchard Oriole is still present in Fort Bragg. West end of the Virgin Creek trail (enchanted forest) foraging in blackberries.

This morning around 10:30 AM, I found an Oriole on the Enchanted Forest
Trail right outside of the actual forested area but well before the Haul
Road. It appears to be female. It was eating black

Today I ran into a Jaeger sitting on one of the sand bars at the Garcia River mouth at 16:00. After about 30 minutes the bird took off and did not return.

We identified it as a Tennessee, however after referring to the Mendocino County checklist and see no sightings listed I photograph it and posted it to see what others might think.
