Thanks for those who responded about the possible dead Heermann’s Gulls at Manchester Beach. They turned out to be Northern Fulmars. Thanks to Tim Bray, Feather, and Diane Hichwa for taking a look at rather gruesome photos and identifying, in particular, the beak of the fulmar.

Recent sightings in the Gualala area, the two adult Bald Eagles are back together. A juvenile Bald Eagle appeared. Ferruginous hawk seen hunting.
