  You can read below that two juvenile bald eagles were seen at the Gualala River. We believe they are the offspring of the mated pair seen at the river and off the town of Gualala. A favorite perch, where I saw one of the adults on Thursday morning at 10 am, is a snag just north of the end of the Gualala Bluff Trail, behind Trinks restaurant.

Also, the two Osprey chicks I watch with a scope in Anchor Bay are exercising their wings on the sides of the nest. They look very healthy, I’m glad to say. I don’t think it will be too long before they take their first flights.
