Greetings Mendobirders- This morning I saw a Vesper Sparrow at the Ukiah
Wastewater Treatment Plant. The bird was on the east end of the levee
that has the evaporation sprinklers. It was about 50 feet in from the
river end, feeding on the levee edges with a number of Savannah and Song
Sparrows. There were 5 Pectoral Sandpipers moving around the ponds, and a
Merlin was also in the area.
