9/9 UWTP Northern Waterthrush

Chuck & Barbara Vaughn

Greetings Mendobirders- Early this morning Cheryl Watson, Geoff
Heinecken, and I found a Northern Waterthrush on the sludge pond at the
Ukiah Wastewater Treatment Plant. The bird was foraging on the exposed
sludge on the south edge, and was best seen from the area directly above
the sludge dredge. It was still there at 930. There are 4 continuing
Pectoral Sandpipers on the sludge pond as well.
