Greetings Mendobirders- This morning I saw a male Red-naped Sapsucker on the west side of the sag ponds just above the office area at the UC Hopland R&E Center. It was working in a live oak that was lined with fresh sap wells. This seems to be the winter for vagrant sapsuckers in Mendocino County!
