Michael,

have you run the addtap.bat script before as indicated on David's page?
Sorry, no other idea as I do not and never will run TelliCast under Windows.

I did everything like on Divid's page described. So sad.

Perhaps there will be software in near future that serves both receivers in one window. :)

Best wishes,
Michael

Michael,

The present BDADataEx software requires one instance for each tuner. I don't
quite see what your problem is as you could easily overlay the two windows so
that just one is displayed, or do something similar to mine where I have an
offset between the two windows so that both signal levels etc. can be seen. In
terms of "one window" just think of the two side-by-side as one window!

Each instance is set up separately - one for transponder 1 and the other for
transponder 2 (as called by EUMETSAT). Each instance needs a different IP
address etc.

I hope you have better luck.

Cheers,
David

Hi David,

thanks for your help. I exactly know what you mean. My problem is, that BDADataEx shows me faults when I run your script. (see attached pictures)

first window from BDADataEx -> BDADataEx is already running !
second window from BDADataEx -> TAP-DVB adapter not installed
third window from BDADataEx -> Network support unavailable !

There is no second "TAP" available in the network section.

I started the scipt in admin mode. I don't know whats's gone wrong.

Or do I have a wrong version of SR-Test.exe?

I am so sorry that you have so much work get me working fine.

Best wishes, Michael

Michael,

As Ernst already mentioned, have you added the second TAP adapter? There's an AddTAP script created by the install procedure, and I would expect that needs to run in Admin mode. Please refer to the install notes, if there are any.

Many other users have done this and run quite successfully.

Cheers,
David

Oh boy, i did it. In my installation of BDADataEx was no AddTap script installed. I made a copy from your post in the group some time ago. Now i receive all three channels.

Many thanks again for your support Ernst and David ;)

Best wishes,
Michael

David and Michael,

under GNU/Linux switching on and off the single cable solution is as easy as setting a driver module parameter. Maybe for the sake of all Windows users someone should write a bullet proof formula for starting the TBS-6903 single cable solution on that OS. This with links to and copies of all relevant setup files probably including the needed *.dll(s) and AddTap.bat.

While the period for single cable TC setups will end with the change from C10 (polarisation H) to C3 (polarisation V) foreseen mid 2022 there will be another possibility for this setup with transponders WK10 and WK4 foreseen 1 July 2023.

Hello Ernst,

that sounds as a good plan... and would have helped me a lot. But like you wrote, in 4 month this setup is history.

I think new users who search in this topic/thread will find what they need.

Best wishes,
Michael
