Metop C yesterday break in data?

geojohnt@...

Hello All,

It would appear that I was the only person to experience a long period of no data from Metop C 'world coverage' yesterday?

My last chunk was 2021-02-17 08:41:28.000 created 2021-02-17_0810_M03_11838.hpt

I noticed no data flow later in the day and closed and re-opened my Metop Manager at 16:57 but no 'saved data files' to process.

I left the programme 'running' but no data flow till 2021-02-17 23:06:56.000 created 2021-02-17_1958_M03_11845.hpt.

???

Regards,
John Tellick.

They've been a bit quiet about it, but these is reference to an outstanding problem affecting SAF-type data.

John,

That's what I got from Metop-C yesterday. A big gap as well ...

I also missed the notification of the total outage of 10:00 UTC yesterday.
Btw David, many stations, including mine, seem to be missing from your performance page. Data is being sent to you though.

Ferdinand

Ferdinand,

The Link Margin page seems OK here at 15:51. Try a Ctrl-F5 and get back to me if there's is still a problem. Hope it's not a Brexit issue!

I only link to the data, only my own data is stored on my own Web site.

David,

On MS-Edge refresh or F5 doesn't change a thing, but with Chrome the page loads properly here. I have no clue why that is, but it is not your site, nor Brexit :-)

Thanks for checking.

Ferdinand

David, Ernst and Ferdinand,

Thanks for your comments.

I had a look on UNS but it didn't seem to report a failure(?).

Regards,
John.
