Meteosat-10 & Meteosat-11 mission swap - MSG Data Manager actions

For those those using the MSG Data Manager, I am hoping that the procedure used before will be all that is needed:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On your Rapid Scanning instance, March 13, 15:00 UTC or later:
Stop the program scanning
Setup
Advanced
Select the MSG-4 satellite
Close the program
Restart on March 28 or earlier.
28 March 08:00 UTC service is due to resume.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On your prime, zero degree, instance, early on March 21:
Setup
Advanced
Select the MSG-3 satellite
Close the program
Restart the program.
Data should resume that day after 2-6 hours approximately.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

For RSS SEVIRI meteorological products please let me know whether the file name change causes any problems.

I hope the transition is a smooth one. Fingers crossed!

Cheers,
David

    H-000-MSG3__-MSG3________-<channel>______-<segment>___-yyyyMMddhhmmss-C_
    For 0° SEVIRI meteorological products:
    W_XX-EUMETSAT-Darmstadt,SING+LEV+SAT,MET10+<product>_C_EUMG_ yyyyMMddhhmmss _3.bin

After Meteosat-11 has taken over the RSS service from 28/03/2023, filenames will be as follows:

    For RSS SEVIRI image data:
    H-000-MSG4__-MSG4_RSS____-<channel>______-<segment>___-yyyyMMddhhmmss-C_

In the frame of the Meteosat-10 / Meteosat-11 mission swap, the 0 deg SEVIRI data will be unavailable on 21 March 2023 from 08:00 up to 14:00 UTC. Meteosat-10 is planned to start scanning in FES shortly before 9:00 and dissemination of its images with geometric rectification is planned to resume at 09:00 UTC. However it is expected that a good radiometric quality will only be reached after 2 to 6 hours. Meteorological Products might take up to two weeks to reach a nominal quality.

Seems to have worked well here David. Mission swap successful I think. Images back on.
Thank you for the pointers.

James.

Mission swap successful. All Systems work fine here too.

This morning, before I went to work, I started a 4th instance of MSG-Data-Manager for MSG-3, so that both satellites (MSG-3 and 4) could be received in parallel. When I came back from work, all I had to do was kill the instance of MSG-4. The MSG Animator meanwhile put the images of MSG-4 and then of MSG-3 together without any problems.

RSS back nicely this morning.

Thanks to all.
Same from my side. After setting the receiving channel right here, the flow is back.

:)
