does anyone set up a Europe projection for AVHRR or VIIRS with the right resolution, on Eumetcastview? Which parameters do you use? Thanks

I am not aware of a 'Europe projection' in EUMETCastView, but you can make for example a 'Lambert Conformal projection' of Europe  :)
The projection canvas size is independent of the image resolution, so you can take any canvas size you want. The program uses bilinear interpolation for smoothing out the projection image.
