Hi All,

within the last 3 weeks A-76 seems not to have moved very far.
But it has spun CCW 180°! I'd like to remind users of SPS 4.1
to fix the BUG I discovered tracking A-76 with Sentinel-3A/B/X.

https://groups.io/g/MSG-1/message/34723

Without this fix the right Sentinel-3A/B/X files are sometimes not found
and the UTC times of maximum satellite elevation are mostly wrong.

Cheers,
Ernst

Ernst,

Yes, A-76 has been rotating but as yesterdays images show it's now E-W again.

Attached Metop images from March 29th and 30th.

We are now losing daylight from that area alas.

Regards,
John

John,

interestingly during the last 3 days A-76 has been moving west again.

Regarding other icebergs currently in the Weddell Sea I found this link:

Ernst,

Thanks for the link.

Mmmm, several icebergs to keep an eye on.
Pity southern winter is fast approaching when those (like me) not taking Sentinel will have to rely on cloud free Metop IR.

Regards,
John.
