Himawari LUT's

Hi guys
Can anyone point me in the direction of a LUT which will render Himawari images with a bit of colour. Have tried all the usual ones but still only get a pale B&W image. Also are FY-2G & 2E images being sent out? Seen nothing for some time and have latest ver of MSGDataManager and re-checked rec channels and PID's which all seem ok. best regards - chris |

Chris FY-2E and FY-2G image data and Met. data are still coming in. If you are not receiving this data you need to check your entries in recv-channels.ini. All the data comes through Data Channel 12 and the image data is saved in the FSD folder and the Met. data in the CMA folder.

I do have to point out that the FY-2E and 2G image data are saved with incorrect names in the FSD folder ( 2C and 2D ) so that is worth keeping in mind. Sorry I cannot comment on the LUT query Regards Ian. -----Original Message-----

There is full colour rendition in the current MSG Data Manager, MSG Animator and GeoSatSignal. Do you have the latest versions of all three programs installed? Bit late in replying to you but yes, I have your latest MSG Mgr version downloaded Feb 13th as part of your Toolset Plus suite but none of the pallets will give any colour. What names should I be looking for please ? regards - chris |

BTW: there is an update to the MSG Data Manager available dated Feb.18: http://www.satsignal.eu/ntp/setup.html It handles the new band 09 data from Himawari-8, which may otherwise build up in your \received\ directory tree.
