EUMETSAT Data Store and EUMETCastView

rnosborne@...

I'm not sure if this is then correct forum but I am seeking help with EUMETCastView V1.5.6. I am trying to download Sentinel-3 EFR Images from the EUMETSAT Data Store using EUMETCastView as these are no longer available on EUMETCast . I am able to download the images directly from the Data Store after logging on but would like to use EUMETCastView as an alternative method.

I have configured my details as shown in this image.

I have selected a date and pressed the "Download Available Segments from Scihub/CODA" button which triggers a password prompt as shown below.

On entering my EUMETSAT password, a pop window appears with the message "Received a wrong XML document" and can proceed no further.

Is anyone able to help?

Richard

I have not tried the EUmetCastView software but I see that it says CODA.

See following link:

Kenan,

Thank you for your reply. Since my request, I decided to register for access to the Copernicus Open Access Hub in case there was a problem with access to the EUMETCAST Data store. I can report that the Copernicus Open Access Hub is working successfully with EUMETCastView.

Regards,

Richard

Hi Richard,

Yes,  EUMETCAST changed the API for browsing and downloading their data. The new API is rather complicated and I didn't find the time yet to change the program.
Scihub is still using the original API so downloading from their site is still working.

Kind regards,

Hugo
