I have made an animation of the vortex effect in the Canary islands today.

Can anyone tell me what the horizontal line is that starts at 07.00 and sweeps west across the islands wiping out the clouds as it goes until 13.45. I used ch 12 in the first animation, so I looked at it again with Ch 1 it starts at Casablanca, and the line spreads right down to Dakar Any ideas Graham

They'll probably disappear soon but I don't remember seeing them before. Cheers James -- James Brown Unsure what a term means?
