As I watched, several missing segments became apparent. I checked the log file on the receive computer and it reported "5 files missing/incomplete". So at least I can see it recorded. No obvious extra program running, but I don't expect to identify one anyway. The list of processes running totals 39 and many are incomprehensible to me.
