E 10-A 11.263 GHz V.

Dear All,

There was a bit of a discussion recently as to whether 11.263 GHz V transponder (soon to be HVS-2) was active or not.
David produced a spectrum scan which seemed to identify it was but then it disappeared.

I contacted EUMETSAT but they didn't have any information so I contacted Eutelsat.
Dare I say it seems a bit difficult to get 'technical information' - or rather who or what is using a transponder as it is commercially sensitive.

Before trying again with a further contact at Eutelsat yesterday I checked with my SatPal meter.
And 11.263 GHz V isn't fired up.
