iz3zlu,
Forgot to add that when subscribed, VIIRS-EDR appears on Basic channel E1B-TPL-1, (previously NPP-1 before channel renaming) VIIRS-EARS appears on HVS-1 channel E1H-RDS-1 Cheers, Alan |

iz3zlu,
Glad you've got it working. Day-night band images are part of VIIRS data so you need to subscribe to GDS-SNPP/NOAA-20: VIIRS EDR RDS-EARS: VIIRS To display the images I use EUMETCastView from here http://hvanruys.github.io/ Cheers, Alan |

Many thanks to all.

On the systems here, I set up a separate instance of the MSG Data Manager for Himawari. This avoids a single instance asking for a larger amount of memory, and allows the OS to manage memory better. This also prevents getting too much data in a single directory - a common directory is not required.
So I have - Zero degree, IODC, Rapid Scan, and Himawari - four instances. Recommended! Cheers, David -- SatSignal Software - Quality software for you Web: https://www.satsignal.eu Email: david-taylor@... Twitter: @gm8arv |

many Thanks Alan.
Now works fine!!! However, I had to select the bas / default folder otherwise I would not receive the images as that folder is selected on the MSG data manager. Now I will make a new instance with the path of the new folder. I would like to ask if I can how to receive dnb images - day night band. I saw that it shows the illuminated cities. Thanks for the invaluable help. ! |

For MSG Data Manager to see it, the Himawari-8 data needs to be in Eumetsat_Data_Channel_4, (the original Foreign Satellite Data channel) so in your 'cast-client-channels_hvs-1.ini' file you need to have an entry something like this
[channel]
name=E1H-TPG-2
target_directory=E:\EUMETCast\received\Eumetsat_Data_Channel_4
The 'received' path needs to match what you actually use for your setup. Cheers, Alan |

Excuse me, for detail 1 I solved. Visible LUT on none ....
Himawari's problem remains .... |

Hello everybody,
I'm trying to understand MSG Data Manager ... but I'm not a good computer scientist ... I probably touched something I shouldn't have and if I open an image on Detail 1 it appears as shown in the attached photo, while on Detail 2,3 and 4 You can see very well ... What could I have done?
Then I absolutely cannot see Himarawi, while FSD I see it perfectly ... what should I set? Thanks for your patience. |
