Setup for Eumetsat

Greetings to all,
for four years I have been licensed to receive Eutelsat and today (just today) I finally mounted the dish and connected it to TBS5927, I started TBS data service and then ... I stopped. In the settings of TBS data service everything is fine but if I select root in "code Type", it does not work ... instead if I select Gold Code I can do the Lock TP ....
I bought MSG Data Manager, how do I get the images now? Do you have a Nerd-proof guide here on the Group?

Lanfranco, I’m the last person on earth to offer you any technical advice, but just one elementary question – have you checked alignment and signal strength? I think without that it’s hard to make any progress. I’m still awaiting an engineer to come to align my dish, which was moved by one of the Atlantic storms. It hasn’t moved much and I’m getting some imagery, but poor quality and with significant gaps. Where are you located?

Thank you so much for the quick reply Robert.
I'm in the JN55TT area, north of Italy. I mounted the dish myself but I called some technicians to point it with a professional instrument that also gave the name of the satellite received .... Below the software screen with the signals. Lanfranco IZ3ZLU

Grazie Stefano, spero che nessuno si offenda se scrivo in italiano.
Ho giá installato BDADataex, quello che non so in quanto non trovo molte informazioni in rete, é come avviene il resto... devo per forza collegarmi con Tellicast o i dati ricevuti si possono elaborare direttamente con MSG Data Manager? Io vengo dall'HRTP dove ho ottimi risultati, ma l'Eumetcast per me é sconosciuto..... Thanks Stefano. I have already installed BDADataex, what I do not know as I do not find much information on the network, is how the rest happens ... do I have to connect with Tellicast or can the data received be processed directly with MSG Data Manager? I come from the HRTP where I have excellent results, but the Eumetcast is unknown to me ..... |

Thanks David, now everything works ...Probably: MSG Data Manager: Setup, Advanced, Select the channel you want, Select the city list (or none) you wish. Get back if that doesn't work.
