You might look at Hugo Van Ruyskensvelde's EUMETCastView program or the PyTroll
software where Ernst Lobsiger is the main expert.

https://github.com/hvanruys/EUMETCastView/releases

Just to note that as I am now retired (well, almost ten years into retirement)
I won't be doing software for the next generation of satellites as I cannot
guarantee to be around to support it!

Cheers,
David

Marco,

my PyTROLL/Satpy Starter Kit 3.0 has an easy to follow HOWTO. It's in English though. There are Italian users that might help. You start here:

P.S. Attached images with 3.0 distributed NOAA20 scripts ...

Marco,

I attach an automatic translation below (my Italian stopps at "Mamma Mia" :-).
If this does not help, try to find someone fluent in English at your Osservatorio.

Regards,
Ernst

Marco,

scaricare il testo HOWTO tradotto e leggerlo in Windows. L'editor di Windows comprende UTF8. Se lo si legge nel browser, alcuni caratteri potrebbero apparire irregolari.

please download the translated HOWTO text and read it in Windows. The Windows Editor undestands UTF8. If you read it in the Browser, some characters might look wierd.

Buona sera,
Good evening,

Ernst

Marco,

maybe this is an even better translation.
