Hi Alan, thanks for the reply. I changed the registry entry, removing the video files from C:\ seems to have been beneficial for the performance already. I was thinking less of the amount of data

The oxide layer is very hard and well bonded to the copper. Even sandpaper does not remove it easily. But YMMV. Cheers, U.
