down in the low 30s. There is not a breath of wind.

David - now that normal service has been resumed I still find I have a large
number of missed segments and my Signal Quality remains down in the low 30s.
There is not a breath of wind.

MSG-1 3 minute mini-scan anomalies
Apart from the obvious anomalies of a 'flapping' southern section and the tearing of some frames did anyone notice a peculiar imaging anomaly (or processing anomaly) at approx long 53 E and lat 21 S -

they are indeed coming in at three minute intervals.
So I chose the 1618 ch 02 image and opened it in PSP - the whole of

dawn terminator is just west of Ireland so these images must be
circa 0900.
MSG-1 is doing rapid scans (3 minutes) right now, not

It was on the low end of it's 49..53% range today, although the sky
was clear. Quite cold outside (that's the technical term!). Card

Since half a year I am receiving MSG on my laptop , Sony PCG-GRT815M.,with a 80 cm dish with a digital LNB for Astra and an analog LNB for Hotbird (which works well - 65 % signal) Eumetsat delivered
