Folks, as you will have realised, changes made for a test of Met-5

Met 8
Appears to be some slight problems this morning. Some of the cycles ( not
monitored all ) are taking a little longer than usual ( ie 10.45 completed
11.02 ) and 10.15 cycle was time stamped at 10.14

MSG-1 resolution (again)
Yes, I do exactly this for astronomy. You can get an excellent idea of
cloud cover and now-casting for telescope use. I have noticed that some
cloud is almost see-through.
