I have a card but have not fitted it yet as I am waiting until all the problems have been solved and the bird is stable along with the soft ware. All I want to do is plug it in, install soft ware

We are pretty much stable right now. Eumetsat carry out maintenance etc but most of the time we get constant images. I would try the card and software, mine worked first time, and David Taylor has

Is it possible that the problems with the card are linked to the mobo/chipset?
I think the card requires a lot of power from the mobo and if the chipset can't deliver then there are problems. I have

Then again I'm using an Abit KT7 and a Duron 800 with no problems since installation about mid May. I'm convinced there are some duff cards around. Wrong type of glue as per Fujitsu drives ?
