Robert - it *may* not (just) be a case of letting the hardware cool, but also a case of ensuring everything is switched off and letting all the supplies discharge down to zero so that everything

Whoops - I used the word 'cold' loosely. I simply meant that I turned the power
off and left the PC for ten minutes. My card has never run at anything other
than very slightly warm. Thanks for this

trick! I let the PC go cold.
That _maybe_ suggests you need more cooling for the card, or simply
that it doesn't recover properly from lack of signal.

Yes earlier today - but I did it again tonight and it has done the trick! I let
the PC go cold.

My dish has now been re-aligned (free of charge) and my signal quality is back
to 70%. But still lots of missing segments. Rx PC does not need defragmenting.
