that does allow its address to be set - "but it would, wouldn't it?".

It won't let me, David. It's all greyed out - I assume because it's a usb
device.

Sounds like the IP address is wrong. Control Panel (perhaps),
Network Connections, B2C2 card, right-click properties, TCP/IP
protocol, properties, set the IP address to:

You can install the files wherever you want and call the folders what you
want. A good scheme is to keep the C partition for the system and install
applications on the D partition and so on. That way

I confess to not having kept up with the group recently and have now
observed that I have large quantities of files noaa15,17 and 17 with the
extension .bz2 and .bufr and many MPEF GII.
