Re: Sentinel 2A data
Nice job, David - an interesting read.
My comment would be that it'd be nice to have the data in a sensible format
(JP2000 is awful) but I doubt that's something you can do anything about ;-)

Here's an example of some Copernicus Sentinel 2A data processed from the tile download by me (using Delphi and FreeImage to handle the 16-bit data).

Re: SR1 console
Hi Gerard,
My understanding of the "not locked" message is that your SR1 is not locked onto the satellite transponder.
Are you still receiving data??

Since a few weeks my SR1 console refuses to run : "not locked" !
The adress I use (192.168.10.99) is the same as Putty uses (management IP adress of SR1). Nevertheless Putty runs

Hi All!
I made some changes and improvements to the Python script. It stores now 32 bin png's.
In the new data format (after 2016 December 6th) a true colour image is still included.

I would like to take you up on your kind offer and request your Windows

Re: FengYun data offline?
The image data has been very unreliable recently with days of no data.
It should be noted though that the Meteorological data is still being sent from both FY-2E and FY-2G ( saved in the CMA folder
